About the event
The SlideWinder Blues Band hits hard with its own brand of Texas and Chicago-driven contemporary blues. For those times when the 1, 4, 5 just isn't enough, the band's red-blooded live shows are full of vigor and offer a sonic palette indicative of the Mississippi Delta and New Orleans. Now in its ninth year, SlideWinder isn’t just a band; it’s a community. Inductees of The PA Blues Hall of Fame and some charting positions at international radio with their debut record, position SlideWinder to expand its aural footprint. A bluesy re-do of the 1961 hit “A Little Bit of Soap” dropped in May of 2021 and peaked at #3 on the RMR Blues Radio Chart. The band's sophomore effort was released on February 24, 2023.
